Welcome to Good Shepherd Baptist Church

Home of the Old Kentucky Camp Meeting. Good Shepherd Baptist Church is a small country church with a big vision to see seek out sinners, strengthen the saints, search the scriptures, stand against satan, and serve our Saviour.

We have two camp meetings every year one in June and another in August. We also hold three revival meetings each year to help encourage and stir up the hearts of our people that we may go out to our community with a fervent desire to see people get saved.

We will Reach People through the Truth and Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ

King James Bible

You will only find us using the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. It is the actual preserved Word of God in the English language. All other versions are riddled with omissions and errors of His living word.

Good Ol' Preaching

Good hard-nosed, bible believing, Baptist preaching. All sermons are prepared and delivered using the Word of God. They are direct and truthful. Most importantly are backed by scripture.

Fellowship

Engaging in and enjoying fellowship about God is just as important as the sermons themselves. Share testimonials, trials, tribulations and praise reports with ye fellow Christians.

I have known brother and sister Duncan since I was 4 years old. As a young person they would pick me up for church off and on. Later on in life my mom passed away in 1994 and for the next two years I was under a deep sorrow that would not go away, but got stronger every week. That sorrow brought me to Good Shepherd Baptist Church where I got saved on March 10th, 1996. Since then it has been a great honor to serve under brother Duncan and be a part of the camp meetings and to rejoice with the saints of God!
